Discovered in the city of Malden, the weapons and ammunition may have been used by the Allies during the conflict.
While tending his gardens, a Dutchman stumbled upon weapons and ammunition from World War II . All the weaponry was found in a metal box in Malden, Netherlands, and likely belonged to the Allies.

Packed with heavy weapons, the crate contained a carbine, a submachine gun, and a shotgun, as well as a huge quantity of well-preserved ammunition. Now, all the pieces are to be displayed at the Bevrijdingsmuseum Groesbeek.

It is known that the military artifacts were found in the same region where the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade operated in Great Britain at that time. Therefore, it is quite likely that the weaponry came from the Allies.

This discovery caught the attention of experts and curious onlookers, who began exploring the lands of Malden in search of more artifacts. So far, more military combat objects have been discovered, such as grenades, binoculars, and a compass.
